Harvest 2025 in Valtènesi: scents, colors and stories from Lake Garda
Harvest is the beating heart of every winery: the moment when a year’s work finds its completion and takes shape in the future of the wines. The 2025 harvest in Valtènesi, on the hills embracing Lake Garda, has been a special vintage, full of challenges but also great promises.
To tell us about it is Cristian, our cellar master, who lives the harvest as a ritual of passion and dedication, turning grapes into emotions to be poured into the glass.
An early start, full of energy
This year harvest began on August 26th, a few days earlier than 2024. The lively climate made the work in the vineyard even more stimulating, demanding daily care and constant attention.
“It has been an intense year,” says Cristian, “but the aromas coming from the vats give us hope: the wines are showing balance between freshness and alcohol.”
The beauty of each harvest is that it forces you to experience nature with new eyes, never taking anything for granted. This year, more than ever, our craftsmanship has been the key to enhancing quality.
Selection in the vineyard: care makes the difference
Every bunch has been chosen with care, selecting only the best for our wines.
“We carried out meticulous work in the vineyard, carefully choosing what could give its best,” Cristian explains. “It is demanding, but this dedication is what creates wines that truly represent us.”
These words capture the essence of Valtènesi: always aiming for quality, even when it requires effort and patience.
Stable yields, surprising quality
Quantities are stable compared to last year, but what stands out is quality especially promising in some wine types.
Rosés: the soul of Valtènesi
Valtènesi is the land of Lake Garda rosé wine, and 2025 promises extraordinary bottles.
“We are at a good level with the rosés, with even brighter colors than in 2024.”
Fragrant, fresh, luminous rosés that tell the story of the land with elegance and immediacy: a symbol of Garda and its ability to surprise in every season.
Reds and appassimento
For the reds, expectations are high, especially for the grapes destined for appassimento. Time will reveal their full strength, but the premises are very positive.
“We have high expectations for the appassimento. We’ll see at the end of harvest, but the signs are very good.”
The 2025 reds promise to be intense, structured and full of personality.
Emotions and stories from the vineyard
Each vintage carries a different story, and 2025 has taught us the value of care, patience and trust.
“We expect balanced and fragrant wines, able to once again tell the story of our territory.”
Behind every glass is the silent work in the rows, the selection of bunches, the patience in the cellar. This is what makes harvest a ritual that unites effort, joy and gratitude.
From vineyard to experience
The beauty of harvest is that it does not remain only in the glass: it is a moment our guests can experience up close.
